Mission Statement

To provide an entertainment facility of “Fast Family FUN” at the foothills of Appalachia, for racers and fans in the name of sportsmanship and competition, with a diverse representation from the Motorsports Industry.

Kentucky DRAGWAY is located in Powell County, directly off the Mountain Parkway, at the beautiful entrance of the foothills of Appalachia, the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge.  As soon as you arrive you’ll feel the full effect of God’s beautiful creation of nature and the electricity of heart pounding horsepower in one! 

Our venue is a FAST FAMILY FUN facility where you can escape all the problems of the world for a day while embracing the timeless tradition and competition of drag racing and Motorsports! 

We are a Family owned and operated facility.  And our main focus is to provide everyone a safe, clean and enjoyable facility that supports our racers, fans and local community in every way.  We are open every Friday and Saturday during the regular season of March through November, weather dependent, and with adjustments seasonally. Specialty Events run Friday through Sunday, with Chapel Services available any Sunday we are racing. 

Kentucky DRAGWAY strives to be a place of friendship, sportsmanship, entertainment and competition at the highest level! We aim to provide a diverse showing of that competition with over 40 classes of racing represented from people all across the United States every year!
